Our Goal

Having unlimited and uninterrupted time to complete those priceless scrapbook albums and personal projects is every scrapbooker and hobbyist's fantasy.  When you reserve your space at one of Southern Retreats weekend scrapbooking events, that fantasy can easily become a reality!  You'll do no laundry, cooking, cleaning or chasing kids at our retreats.  It's our goal to give you every advantage possible in helping you to have the most productive scrapbooking weekend attainable. 

The Crop Room

Beginners and experienced pros alike will appreciate the well-lighted work area provided with your own 5ft or longer table and adjustable lamp that each guest is assigned for the entire weekend.  No need to pack-up your tools or projects if you actually crop 'til you drop.  It will all still be there waiting for you again when your second wind kicks in a few hours later.  Endless snacks and beverages are provided free to guests at all times.  Plenty of chocolate, cookies, pretzels/chips, bottled water, coffee, hot water for tea and hot chocolate are constantly replenished throughout the day and night to help keep everyone operating on "full charge" continuously.  Some meals may be included with your stay - please check our SCHEDULE for each retreat's details.   You don't wash a dish or put up any leftovers for a change and just simply enjoy yourself and your fellow scrapping friends for an entire weekend of fun!  Best of all, our retreats are affordably priced.

If you should happen to run out of ideas, inspiration or motivation at any point during your stay at the retreat, never fear, because we've more than got you covered!  The Southern Retreats' Creative Corner is right on site and we carry the basics in adhesives and cardstock (not to mention a wide variety of printed paper, ribbon and much more!)  at competitive prices.  Purchase in advance from our Online Store during Registration and receive a free piece of cardstock for every $5 spent and a 15% discount.  We will have these supplies at your table when you arrive and your free cardstock will be available for you to choose from during your weekend with us. 

Get Motivated!

As far as motivation...  What could be more inspiring than a group of other serious Scrappers having a party/sleepover together to uplift your spirit and encourage you to crank those pages out in record time?  Don't worry, however, for those of you who prefer to simply be left to their own devises with ample peace and quiet... you too will certainly be accommodated and we love you just the same!
